San Antonio saw an influx of supply added later than the other large Texas regions, with the large amounts of supply growth in the area in recent years suppressing asking rates in the area. With over 5% of new supply relative to total supply delivered in 2025 so far- asking rates in San Antonio are below pre-COVID numbers and will remain that way until demand catches up with the new supply.
