The ongoing Portfolio Project is a crucial initiative to enhance the user experience in Radius+ by introducing new features and restructuring the application into smaller, more manageable components. This effort pulls from the product and technical roadmaps, ensuring that the platform continues evolving and meeting user needs. Here’s an overview of the latest updates and improvements that have been rolled out.
New Features:
1. Sharing Portfolios with Specific Users
Previously, users could only share portfolios with all users within their company. The latest update gives users more flexibility by allowing them to select specific individuals from a list of company users. This new functionality enables two sharing options:
- Share with all users in the company.
- Share with selected users within the company.
Moreover, users can now edit the portfolios shared with them. This gives them more control over portfolio collaboration, making team management more streamlined and tailored.
2. Bulk Upload of Facilities via CSV
One of the most exciting new features is the ability to bulk upload facilities into a portfolio using a CSV file. Here’s how it works:
- Users can download a CSV template and add multiple facilities simultaneously rather than manually inputting each one.
-
After the upload, a dialog box shows how each facility address was processed. The results are color-coded to make it easy to understand:
-
Green: Address successfully matched to a facility.
- Pink: The address was not matched to a facility but was successfully geocoded using here.com.
- Purple: Duplicate entries in the CSV file.
- Red: The address was neither matched to a facility nor geocoded successfully via here.com.
This feature significantly reduces the time and effort of adding facilities, especially for users managing more extensive portfolios.
3. Editing Portfolio and Facility Names
We have introduced the option to edit portfolio and facility names to improve usability further. Users can now:
- Rename their portfolios, a function that was previously unavailable.
- You can edit the names of facilities within a portfolio. However, it is important to note that changing a facility name in one portfolio will update that name across all of the user’s portfolios.
These updates give users more flexibility and control over how they organize and manage their data in Radius+, empowering them to fine-tune their portfolio management.
These new features are just the beginning of what’s in store for Radius+ users. With a clear focus on improving functionality and user experience, the portfolio project promises to continue bringing valuable improvements to the platform. Stay tuned for more exciting updates!
